Menu Security Permissions

All menu entries now have security permissions. Permissions are collected into security groups. Each user is assigned to a security group.

Redesigned Menu

The main menu has now been redesigned into two tiers. Any new folders are placed within the main menu structure.

Clock Time in Menu Header

ETM now displays a clock in the menu header to help users keep track of time.

Home Page

ETM home page now consists of two main sections:

  • Today’s Schedule - lists employees schedule for the day. From this list users can navigate to past and future days. The schedule information can also include any relevant schedule details.
  • Clock Status - provides users with functions from the existing Clocks page. In addition, the ETM home page provides a link to view clock transactions and time approval (if enabled). As well, a visual indicator is provided to help users determine if they are currently clocked on or off.

Expanded Timesheet Details

The ETM timesheet page (containing work details) now offers the ability to display additional work detail fields through configuration. The work detail information in ETM can now display the same information that users can see on the timesheet in the main application.

Display Schedule Details

Monthly and Weekly schedule views can now display the details associated with a schedule. The details of a schedule are specified configuration. The configuration is independent for each schedule view (monthly, weekly and daily).

Daily Schedule View

ETM now offers a daily schedule view. The view displays schedule details independently of the other views. The Daily Schedule view provides the schedule information to the Today’s Schedule section of the new home page.

Team Schedule

ETM now offers a team schedule view for a given week. The team schedule view also displays a limited amount of schedule detail information. Team schedule information can be printed. The print button can be hidden if required.

Page Scrolling

Scrolling is now available throughout ETM. Scrolling helps users move around the screen and go to other pages.

Enhanced Availability Form

The Availability Form has been enhanced to make the form fit better on the screen. The form also provides the information in a much cleaner and easier to use fashion.
