Long Term Absences (LTA)

A long term absence (LTA) is a type of override (with an associated time code) that affects an employee’s availability. When an employee is booked off, the employee is still technically available for work. However, when the employee is booked off using an LTA override, the employee is marked as not available to work.

For more information about time codes, see the Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.
