Unapproved time off requests and rotation processing

Unapproved time off requests created in Time Off Planner are analyzed to determine if they are affected by schedule changes when an MR or OTS is processed. Processing a rotation denies any unapproved time off requests that overlap shift or assignment changes performed in the rotation since the last time the rotation was processed. Unapproved time off requests are also denied for employees that have been terminated and removed from their rotation row before processing.

When processing a schedule, you are prompted for any unapproved time off requests that overlap schedule changes. These requests are denied if you proceed to process the schedule. If you do not want to deny these requests, you can cancel processing and approve the requests in Time Off Planner. You must have the appropriate permission to approve or deny the types of time off requests that overlap with schedule changes to complete the rotation processing.

For details on setting permissions for approving time off requests, see "Limiting approval by role" in the Infor Workforce Management Time Off Planner User Guide.
