Self-scheduling process definition

You must enter a unique process name, whereas the process description is optional. The team and template cannot be changed because this information came from the team and template used in the Generate Schedule page within Schedule Template. The schedule start date, schedule length, and schedule end date also cannot be changed from this page, as this information came from Generate Schedule.

Note: The system does not let you create multiple processes that overlap dates and templates.

The window start date and window end date determine when employees can self-schedule shifts for the schedule in the process definition. The dates default to today’s date and the time defaults to 00:00. These date and time defaults must be changed to allow an employee to self-schedule.

The Group Set lookup displays all group sets associated to the team in the process definition. A group set is optional. We recommend group sets only if the team staggers the self-scheduling access.
