Configuring Details Edit mode

You can use Config mode to determine which options are available for editing shifts. It is also used to configure data fields for shift details and shift summaries.

  1. Turn on Config mode.
  2. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Enhanced Schedule View > Advanced Schedule View.
  3. Load a schedule.
  4. Select Edit Mode > Details Edit.
  5. Click an existing shift or add a new shift to open the Details Edit panel.
  6. Configure the localization and security settings for the buttons as required.
  7. Configure the available fields and security settings as required in these sections:
    • The work and on-call section controls the fields for work or on-call activities. Fields for shift detail UDFs (ASV_INLINE_ACT_UDF_1~10_) and flags (ASV_INLINE_ACT_FLAG_1~10_) can be added to allow schedulers to set these values for each activity.
    • The Breaks and Meals section controls the fields for break activities. Fields for break UDFs (ASV_INLINE_BREAK_UDF_1~10_) and flags (ASV_INLINE_BREAK_FLAG_1~10_) can be added to allow schedulers to set these values for each break.
    • The Skills section controls the fields for editing the skill qualifications of shifts. Fields for skill UDFs (ESV_INLINE_SHIFT_SKILL_UDF1~5) and flags ( ESV_INLINE_SHIFT_SKILL_FLAG1~5) can be added to allow schedulers to set these values for each skill.
    • The UDF and flag section controls the shift summary UDF (SHIFTSUM_UDF_1~10) and flag (SHIFTSUM_FLAG_1~10) fields.
