Overview

Staffing requirements determine what is required in order for employees to be scheduled shifts at a location. Staffing requirements are specified for every location.

Staffing requirements have two necessary components:

  • Staffing Criteria, which define the qualifications needed (job, skill, skill level) to perform the work (activity). These are found in the Results section after you perform a search for staffing requirements.
  • Requirement Details, which define how the workload is calculated (how productive employees are, minimum and maximum staffing levels, or how workload is distributed over time). These are found in the Entity Details section after you select a criteria in the Results section.
