Key Components

You can add distributions that use volume-driven or property-driven drivers, or distributions that are non-volume-driven. Distributions can be added only to an existing requirement and can have more than one per requirement, based on days of the week.

These components are used with staffing requirement distributions:

Driver Type

Select one of these types:

• Volume-Driven
• Non-Volume-Driven
• Property-Driven

Driver

If using volume-driven or property-driven, select a driver for the requirements.

Description

A brief description of the distribution.

Day of Week

If using volume-driven or non-volume-driven, select the day of the week for the distribution.

Distribution

A distribution for the requirements.

When adding distributions for volume-driven requirements, the Distribution lookup is custom. Rather than displaying distribution names, the lookup displays distribution types. (You need to

have the same distribution type for similar distributions.) Furthermore, you only see distributions common to all staffing requirements.

When adding distributions for non-volume-driven or property-driven requirements, you can only select Best Fit or Flat.
