Clocking In

To clock in:

  1. Access the HTML Clock on your supported device. For more information on how to do this, see Accessing the HTML Clock.
  2. Enter your badge number and select Clock In.
  3. If PIN authentication is enabled, enter your PIN and select Enter.
  4. If your clock in is successful, a confirmation message is displayed on the screen showing your name, badge number, type of punch, and the date and time of the punch. Select OK to acknowledge the confirmation.

If your clock in is not successful, an error message is displayed on the screen. Error messages vary depending on the type of error and the configuration of the clock. For example, you may receive this error:

  • Invalid Badge

The clock reader does not recognize your ID or badge. Ensure that you are specifying your badge correctly. Try the punch again. If you receive the same error message, contact your supervisor.
