Capturing consent in Workforce Management

Depending upon your company’s business practices, you may need to obtain consent from an individual before collecting or processing their personal data.

Besides the automated-decision making in the LFSO and MVS scheduling modules, there is no additional data processing activity that requires consent.

If Workforce Management is the system of record, and additional consent is required, the Employee UDF fields can be defined or Employee Status field can be used.

If Workforce Management is not the system of record, and additional consent is required, then consent should be provided in the system of record. If the data subject has not provided consent during the onboarding process, then employee information should not be sent to Workforce Management. If the data subject revokes consent after their employee information has been sent to Workforce Management, then the Employee UDF fields or Employee Status should be used to track the data subject’s consent.
