Updating the WFM system key

The WFM system key is created when the WFM application is first started. If you want to update the system key, delete the existing system key from the Sensitive Data Configuration maintenance form and restart all application server nodes and job schedulers in the WFM application.

Select Maintenance > System Administration > Sensitive Data Configuration.
Click Edit beside the GLOBALSYSTEMKEY record.
Select the Del check box.
Click Save to delete the system key.

Note: The system key is only read once when the application or job scheduler is started. When the system key is deleted, any running instance of the application or job scheduler will not be affected.
Restart all application server nodes and job schedulers to ensure that they all use the new key that is generated.
