Business Rules

Labor Budgeting includes the following four business rules:

  • The VALIDATE PAYROLL rule specifies a maximum allowed value for payroll for a specified time period and location. (Configured by default.)
  • The VALIDATE MIN HOURS rule specifies a minimum allowed value for hours for a specified time period and location. (Configured by default.)
  • A rule specifies a minimum allowed value for payroll for a specified time period and location. (Not configured by default.)
  • A rule specifies a maximum allowed value for hours for a specified time period and location. (Not configured by default.)

Parameters in the VALIDATE PAYROLL and VALIDATE MIN HOURS rules determine for which Worksheet actions Labor Budgeting runs these rules. See Business rule parameters.

By default, these business rules are part of the following execution groups:
