Creating an Auto-Assignment schedule profile

Auto-Assignment schedule profiles are where you select which Auto-Assignment groups to use when batch scheduling a location. They are also used to configure the length of generated schedules and the method used to derive the location's interval requirements.

  1. Select Scheduling > Schedule Optimization > Setup > Auto Assignment Schedule Profile.
  2. Click Create New Entry.
  3. Specify this information:
    Schedule Profile Name
    Specify the name of the schedule profile.
    Schedule Profile Description
    Specify a description of the schedule profile.
    Location
    Select the team to be scheduled using this profile.
    Schedule Length
    Specify the length of the schedule in days.
  4. In the Staffing Requirements field, select one of these options to determine the method to generate staff requirements for the location:
    • Select the Load requirements minimum from location info option to use the staffing requirements that are defined for the location. Select this option to create a schedule based on the minimum staffing levels only.

    • Select the Calculate requirements from the forecast option to generate staffing requirements based on a forecast. Select this option to use the forecast and productivity standards in conjunction with minimums to create the schedule.

    • Select the Load existing requirements option to generate a schedule based on the location’s existing interval requirements. Before using this option, you must generate a workload for the location.

  5. In the Profile used for Batch schedule generation? field, select Yes to enable this profile for batch schedule generation. Select No to disable this profile for batch schedule generation.
  6. Click Save.
  7. In the Auto Assign Group section, click New Row.
  8. Select an Auto-Assignment group to be scheduled using this profile, and select the priority level for the group from the Group Weight field.
  9. Add additional Auto-Assignment groups as needed.
  10. Click Save.
