Clock keypad and screen overview

The 9000 keypad layout is similar to a calculator with function keys to the right of the keypad. These function keys are used to perform clock punches such as a Start Break (F2).

Also note that the instructions in this document refer to the function keys on the clock screen by name, such as the End break (F6) key. However, since the key labels are configurable, the labels may be different on your 9000. If you are uncertain about the labels and keys on your 9000, ask your supervisor or system administrator.

Note: This guide documents the core configuration of the clock. If you choose to modify the configuration, then some of the function keys in this guide will be different.

In addition to the function keys (F1 - F8) on the clock keypad, use the:

  • enter key to confirm an entry or selection.
  • clear key to clear an entry or exit from a menu, for example, if an error is made while specifying a badge ID, pressing the clear key will clear the value.
