Adding a vacation plan definition

  1. In WFM, select Maintenance > Optional Modules > Vacation Planning > > Vacation Plan Definition.
  2. Click Create New Entry.
  3. In Plan Definition Preset, specify this information:
    Fields marked with an asterisk are required.
    Plan Definition Name*
    Specify the name of the plan definition.
    Plan Definition Description
    Provide the description of the plan definition.
    Time Off Type*
    Select the type of time off to use in the plan from the list.
    Vacation Planning Balance*
    Select the balance to use for vacation planning to determine the amount available for the employee. The effective date for calculating the employee’s balance is the first day of the vacation planning period.
    Start Day Of Week
    Specify the start of the week.
  4. Click Save.
