Time Approval (Attestation)

Time Approval is used by employees review and attest to reported time from the Self Service Portal.

Depending on the configuration, employees can attest by day, by week, or by pay period. Employees can approve, reject, or skip time attestation records, depending on the available options and security settings. Time Approval must be enabled and configured by an administrator before time attestation records are available to employees.

See the Infor Workforce Management User and Administration Library (Multi-tenant) and select Administrator > Time and Attendance > Time Approval.

The display of work detail start and end times in the attestation list view is controlled by the ATTESTATION_LIST_VIEW_SHIFT_DETAILS_TYPE configuration key.

See the Infor Workforce Management User and Administration Library (Multi-tenant) and select Administrator > Configuration Keys > Time Off Approval configuration keys > ATTESTATION_LIST_VIEW_SHIFT_DETAILS_TYPE.

Time attestation is supported in desktop and mobile views of the Self Service Portal.

The Time Approval feature supports these attestation:
  • Daily attestation
  • Weekly attestation
  • Pay period attestation

Daily attestation

Daily attestation shows the reported time for one day. Review the hours, time details, and attestation statement before taking action.

You can approve, reject, or skip the daily attestation record, depending on your available options and security settings.

Weekly attestation

Weekly attestation shows all days in the week that require attestation. The screen includes the employee name, the date range, the list of days in the week, the overall code summary, and the attestation statement.

You can select a day in the week to review more details for that day. The details can include clocks, work details, premiums, overrides, and code summary.

After reviewing the details, return to the main Time Attestation screen. You can approve, reject, or skip the entire week, depending on your available options and security settings. When a weekly attestation is approved or rejected, the same action is applied to all days in the week.

Pay period attestation

Pay period attestation shows all days in the configured pay period that require attestation. The screen is similar to weekly attestation, but the period can include more than seven days, depending on the pay period configuration.

After reviewing the details, return to the main Time Attestation screen. You can approve, reject, or skip the entire pay period, depending on your available options and security settings. When a pay period attestation is approved or rejected, the same action is applied to all days in the pay period.
