Security and permissions for message links

When using routing or message links, take note of these security and permissions:

• Routing honors maintenance form security. Users must have view access to the destination maintenance form in the target portal.
• If the user does not have access in the preferred or default portal, they are directed to the alternate portal if applicable.
• If the user does not have access to both portals, an error message is displayed.
• Routing does not override configuration that hides or disables pages or features.
