9/80 SSP Timesheet

The 9/80 SSP Timesheet is intended for specific implementations of a 9/80 compressed schedule and requires customer-specific configuration, (including Groovy endpoint/script configuration. It is not a complete, standard end-to-end 9/80 solution across all WFM features.

See "Limitations" in 9/80 SSP Timesheet configuration.

The Self Service Portal supports a 9/80 timesheet for employees who work a 9/80 compressed work schedule. The 9/80 SSP Timesheet allows eligible employees to view and edit their timesheets using the Self Service Portal, including on mobile devices. Supervisors can view and approve 9/80 timesheets from the My Team tab.

9/80 schedule overview

In a 9/80 schedule, employees work 80 hours over two weeks in nine working days instead of ten. One work day in the cycle is split between two workweeks. The first portion of the split day completes the first workweek; the second portion starts the next workweek.

A common pattern is:
  • Week 1 contains the second half of the split day, followed by four 9‑hour days.
  • Week 2 contains four 9‑hour days, followed by the first half of the split day, and then a day off.

The split day is sometimes called the shared day because it belongs partly to each workweek.

Identifying 9/80 employees

The 9/80 timesheet solution uses customizable Groovy scripts to enable flexible configuration. Because this is implemented through customer-specific configuration, by default the groovy endpoint points to employee flag1 to define employee as 980.

See the information about groovy endpoints required to configure 9/80 timesheets in the Infor Workforce Management User and Administration Library (Multi-tenant) and select Developer > API Configuration.
