Review Clocks configuration

Employees can use the Review Clocks page in the Self Service Portal to review their recorded clock punches for previous shifts, and to add missing clocks as needed.

The Review Clocks page shows warning for days that require an employee's attention, such as a day with a scheduled shift for which the employee did not record any clock punches. These are the basic types of warnings:

  • Missing clocks on a scheduled day: This warning is generated when a scheduled shift does not have valid clock punches within the shift time window. Clock punches must fall within the shift time window. Clock punches outside this time window are not considered valid and can trigger this warning, even if clock punches exist on that day.
  • Clocks out of sequence: This warning is generated for shifts where the clocks are not recorded in a specified sequence.

These warning are generated by a scheduled task in the Job Scheduler, based on rules that you define. To configure how warnings are displayed, complete these steps:

When Leave Taken Adjustment (LTA) is applied, warnings are evaluated only against the portion of the shift not covered by LTA.

See Review Clocks warnings and LTA scenarios.

Note: The configuration key REVIEW_CLOCKS_FORCE_PUNCH_EDITS controls whether punch edits submitted through the Review Clocks page are forcibly applied to the timesheet, even if the timesheet has changed between the time of the request and its approval.

See the Infor Workforce Management User and Administration Library (Multi-tenant) and select Administrator > Configuration Keys > Clocks configuration keys > REVIEW_CLOCKS_FORCE_PUNCH_EDITS.
