Running a standard report

  1. Under My Reports, select the report that you want to run.
    The reports that are available will vary depending on the security configuration of each report.
  2. Specify the selection parameters for the report. The parameters displayed depends on the report you selected.
  3. Click Go.
    If you did not select No from the Show Parameters list, the parameters that you specified are displayed at the top of the report. The columns and rows that are shown depend on the report type and the parameters that you selected.

    You can use the buttons in the top right corner to view the report in different formats, or to return to the parameters page.

  4. Optionally, to save the selection parameters you specfied for future use, click Save your parameter selection.
    1. Specify a unique name for your report parameter.
    2. Click Save.
    3. Click OK.
    Note: Saved report parameters are user-specific and are not visible to other users. Each user can only view and manage their own saved parameter selections.

    As of release 2026.04, to identify who ran the report when proxy functionality is used, both the actual user and the proxied user are displayed on the report footer in this format: Run by [ACTUALUSER] acting as [PROXIEDUSER] on date and time [PROXIEDUSER’S DATE AND TIME]. This information is included in exported and printed reports. When proxy functionality is not used, then the information on the report footer is displayed in this format: Run by [ACTUALUSER] on date and time [ACTUALUSER’S DATE AND TIME].

    The proxy user information is available for on-demand reports and these reports:
    • Time and Attendance
    • Clinical Science
    • Multi-view Scheduler
    • Schedule Optimization
    • System
    • Healthcare

    However, proxy user information is not available for Cross-industry or Retail reports and is not supported for scheduled reports.

Running a report with saved parameters

You can run a report using the previously saved parameter selection.

  1. Select My Reports > My Saved Reports.
  2. Click Run next to the saved parameter that you want to run.
    Note: On the report result page, you can use the buttons in the top right corner to view the report in different formats, or to return to the saved report parameters page.

Removing a report with saved parameters

  1. Select My Reports > My Saved Reports.
  2. Click Delete next to the saved parameter that you want to remove.
  3. Click OK.
    Note: Deleting a saved parameter only removes the saved parameter set, and does not delete or modify the core report.
