USE_ASSOCIATED_JOBS

Description:

This registry parameter determines whether associated jobs are grouped under their parent job or displayed as separate jobs in scheduling screens such as Advanced Schedule View (ASV), Central Staffing, and Master Rotation and One-time Schedule (MR/OTS).

When this parameter is set to true, information in these screens is combined and shown under the parent job.

This affects these areas of these screens:

  • The ASV Position view groups employees under the parent job section if they are qualified for the parent job or any of its associated jobs.
  • The job filters in ASV can be selected for the parent jobs to show or hide the shifts or employees for the parent job and its associated jobs.
  • Job cards in Central Staffing are combined for the parent job and its associated jobs. This applies both to the Schedule Zone and Float Pool Zone.
  • STC groups shifts for the parent job or any of its associated jobs under the section for the parent job.
  • Coverage details in these screens are displayed only for parent jobs. Coverage data is combined for each parent job and its associated jobs.
  • The Total Coverage panel in MR/OTS groups coverage for associated jobs under the parent job. This applies to all modes such as Draft, Unprocessed, and Processed, coverage filters, and sub-teams.

When this registry parameter is set to false:

  • Jobs are displayed separately in ASV, Central Staffing, and MR/OTS.
  • Job filters in ASV apply to individual jobs.
  • In Central Staffing, job cards display separately in both the Schedule Zone and the Float Pool Zone.
  • STC includes separate sections for shifts for all jobs.
  • Coverage values remain job-specific and are displayed separately for each job. They are not rolled up under the parent job.
Note: When USE_ASSOCIATED_JOBS is enabled, this behavior also applies to SRT coverage. SRT coverage follows the same parent/child roll‑up behavior when filtering by child jobs.
