Changing relief status
You can change the relief status of an unassigned shift in Central Staffing.
- Load a schedule.
- Right-click the selected schedule.
- Select one of these Relief Options:
- Send to Relief
- When you select Send to Relief, the shift is locked and sent to the Relief Calling Area. If the shift is marked as Relief Needed, the shift becomes part of the Relief Queue.
- Relief Needed
- When you select the Relief Needed, the shift is marked as Unfilled. This indicates that relief is still required for the shift. If the shift is marked as Relief Needed, the shift becomes part of the Relief Queue.
- Relief Not Needed
- The Relief Not Needed option is displayed for all Unfilled or Pending unassigned shifts that are part of the Relief Queue. When you select this button, the relief status changes to RNN. If a shift already has this status, you can select the Relief Needed option to mark the shift as unfilled and send it to the Relief Queue. This option is not available for locked shifts. Additionally, you can add and view shift comments for shifts in this status.
- Relief Not Found
- The Relief Not Found option is displayed for all unassigned shifts that are part of the Relief Queue. When you select this button, the relief status is changed to RNF. If a shift already has this status, you can select the Relief Needed option to mark the shift as unfilled and send it to the Relief Queue. This option is not available for locked shifts. Additionally, you can add and view shift comments for shifts in this status.
- Mark as Pending
- The Mark as Pending option is displayed for all Unfilled unassigned shifts that are part of the Relief Queue. When you select this option, the relief status is changed to Pending. The Mark as Pending option is not available for locked shifts.
Note: For upgrading customers, Relief Options are hidden by default. Turn on Config mode and set the Permission Flag to Act in the Security Configuration window to show these options. - Click Submit.
