Setting up Schedule Detail Imports

To set up a Schedule Detail Import:

  1. Create the CSV text file.

    You must create the Schedule Detail Import CSV file according to the field specification listed in Schedule Detail Import Interface field specification.

  2. Specify this information:
    Task Type
    Import Task
    Import Task Parameters: Interface Type
    SCHEDULE DETAIL IMPORT
    Import Task Parameters: Transformer Class Name
    Select the Use Default Transformer check box unless using a custom transformer class or a transformer script.
  3. Specify this information:
    Task Type
    Interface Task
    Interface Task Parameters: Interface Type
    SCHEDULE DETAIL IMPORT
    Schedule Detail Import Parameters:
    To improve the performance of the Schedule Detail Import task, you can use these parameters:
    • Number of Schedule Detail Processing Threads: Specify the number of threads to be used for processing import data concurrently.
    • Auto recalc after saving shifts: Select this check box to re-calculate pay rules after saving shifts. By default, this option is selected.
    • Merge Schedule Details: Select this check box to preserve existing shifts when importing schedule details. When selected, the system retains existing shifts and adds new shifts from subsequent imports, allowing multiple non-overlapping shifts for the same employee on the same day. When not selected, existing shifts for the employee on the same date are replaced with the imported shifts.
