IMS request has lower variation ID than a processed request

Error code: IMS-0003

When processing BODs, you can encounter an error when an older BOD arrives after a newer one has already succeeded for a user, team, or employee.

Cause

When BODs are delivered out of order, WFM detects a lower expired variation ID and rejects the request to prevent overwriting newer data.

Solution

This behavior is expected and you can safely ignore this error. The older BOD is outdated and does not need to be processed because a newer BOD has already synchronized the latest data. When Sequential Check is enabled, HRPersonnel does not encounter this error.
