Shift generation
As of the 2026.03 release, you can generate and assign shifts to employees using workload data. Shift generation from workload converts your forecasted staffing requirements into actual shifts based on profiles that control how shifts are created, split and aligned to demand. Using parameters such as minimum and maximum shift length, allowed transitions, and coverage rules, you can automatically generate a set of shifts that closely match the workload pattern for each day and location. Use these generated shifts as the basis for auto-assignment or further schedule assignment.
