Configuring the Forecasting process

Complete these tasks to set up the Forecasting module.
  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Job Scheduler to set up an import task to import historical data.

  2. Create a driver type. They improve clarity, consistency, and maintenance by organizing drivers with similar units or business meaning.

  3. Create a driver. Drivers are the direct inputs used by the forecasting engine to predict future requirements.

  4. Generate a forecast. You can generate forecasts individually or in bulk.
