Adding a work requirement
You can add a work requirement to a staffing requirement to define specific workload needs such as day parts, start and end times, and minimum and maximum workload. This ensures precise scheduling and resource allocation.
- In the Staffing Requirement page, select the edit icon of a staffing record to add a work requirement.
- On the General tab, click Add work requirement.
- Select between Start and end time or Daypart.
- In the Work requirement section, specify this information:
Fields marked with an asterisk are required.
- Start date*
- Specify a start date for the work requirement.
- End date*
- Specify an end date for the work requirement.
- Description*
- Specify a description for the work requirement.
- Job*
- Specify a job for the work requirement.
- Activity
- Specify an activity for the work requirement.
- Skill
- Specify a skill for the work requirement.
- Skill level
- Specify a skill level for the work requirement.
- Min required*
- Specify the minimum workload required for the work requirement. This ensures that staffing level do not fall below the threshold for the defined period or day part.
- Max required
- Specify the maximum workload required for the work requirement.
- Optionally, select the configuration icon to add a minimum required override.
- In the Minimum required override dialog, you can set a custom minimum workload value for specific days of the week and times. Specify this information, all fields are required:
- Day of the week
- Specify the day of the week to apply the override.
- Day part
- Specify the segment of the day when the minimum required workload override applies. Optionally, you can apply overrides using Start and End times depending on how you created your work requirement.
- Min required
- Specify the minimum workload value for the specified day and day part or start and end times.

Note: You can add multiple overrides for a work requirement by clicking Add override.
- Click Save.
