Creating a driver

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Forecasting > Driver.
  2. Click Create New Entry.
  3. Specify this information:
    Driver
    Specify the driver name.
    Team
    Select the driver's team.
    Driver Type
    Select a driver type.
    Granularity Interval
    Select the interval for the driver. This defines the time resolution of your forecasting data. It also determines how detailed each data point is within the day. For example, retail sales are captured every 15 minutes and delivery counts are recorded hourly. The system supports a minimum interval of 15 minutes. If the interval in the user interface is shorter than the interval in the import file, a warning is displayed. This mismatch can affect forecast accuracy.
    Facility Sector
    Select a facility sector for the driver, such as retail or logistics. This identifier is used to label and organize drivers. It has no functional effect on forecasting.
