Creating a driver data source

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Forecasting > Driver Type.
  2. Click Create New Entry.
  3. Specify this information:
    Fields marked with an asterisk are required.
    Data Source Name*
    Specify the name of the data source. You can specify up to 40 characters.
    Description
    Specify a description for the driver type. You can specify up to 100 characters.
    Source Type*
    Select how the data source fetches driver data. The default and available value is Query.
    Source SQL
    Specify aSELECT statement that defines the historical data for this driver data source. You can specify up to 4000 characters in this field.
  4. Click Save.
