Scheduling the Time Approval Records Task
The Time Approval Records Task controls the creation of time approval records and the status of the associated timesheets.
- Log in to the WFM desktop application.
- Select Maintenance > System Administration > Job Scheduler.
- Click Add Schedule.
- Select Time Approval Records Task from the Task Type list.
- Specify the scheduling parameters for the task and click Submit.
See the Infor Workforce Management User and Administration Library (Multi-tenant) and select Administrator > Time and Attendance > Time and Attendance Implementation > Job Scheduler > Scheduling tasks > Adding tasks to the Job Scheduler.
- In the Task Schedules grid, click the Parameters button for the task that you just added.
- Specify this information:
- Apply to Teams
- Specify one or more teams for which you want to generate time approval records.
- Apply to Sub Teams
- Select this check box to include the sub teams of the teams specified in the Apply to Teams field.
- Apply to Calc Groups
- Specify one or more calculation groups for which you want to generate time approval records.
- Apply to Pay Groups
- Specify one or more pay groups for which you want to generate time approval records.
- Apply to Reader Groups
- Specify one or more reader groups for which you want to generate time approval records.
- Apply to Employees
- Specify one or more employees for which you want to generate time approval records.
- Specify the attestation range. The field names vary depending on the selected Approval Type:
- If the Approval Type is set to Daily, specify the Start Date Offset (days before today) and End Date Offset.
- If the Approval Type is set to Weekly, specify the Start Week Offset (weeks before today) and End Week Offset.
- If the Approval Type is set to Pay Period, specify the Start Period Offset (periods before today) and End Period Offset.
- In the End Offset Direction field, specify how the end offset is applied by selecting one of these options:
- Past: Select this option to create attestation records for past days, weeks, or pay periods. This is the default value.
- Future: Select this option to create attestation records for the current or future day, week, or pay period.
Note: The End Offset Direction field is only available when the Allow Current/Future Attestations check box is selected. - In Process By, select one of these options to indicate how the task selects which employee data to use when processing timesheets:
- Employee Timesheet Date: employee data at the time of the timesheet
- Employee: employee data at the time the task is run
Note: If employee information such as the calculation group has changed since the time was recorded, you might want to use the value from the date of the timesheet rather than the current date. - In Batch Process Size, specify the maximum number of records the application will retrieve and process at a time. The default value is 100.
- Click Submit.
