Employee experience
The validation bypass confirmation screen contains:
- A confirmation dialog message that explains the purpose of the screen.
- The validation message from the validation that was violated.
- Two buttons: Yes and No.
The confirmation dialog message is the same for every validation bypass screen and is configured by the administrator. For example, the default text might be:
I certify that I choose to bypass the following validation.
The validation message describes which validation has been triggered and why the swipe would normally be rejected. This message is localized per validation in the same way as other validation messages.
The employee chooses how to proceed:
- If the employee selects Yes, the clock treats the current validation as bypassed and proceeds to the next triggered validation, if any.
- If the employee selects No, the current validation rejects the swipe. The clock records the rejection and does not present any further validations for bypass.
If the employee selects Yes for all validations that allow bypass and no other validations reject the swipe, the swipe is accepted and processed normally.
If a swipe triggers multiple validations that allow bypass, the employee can step through several validation bypass confirmation screens in sequence, one validation at a time.
