Target tree

Update targets are defined by folder names in the Target Tree structure.

Place a copy of the update.XXXX-XX-XX-X.dir folder to be pushed to the targets under each target folder.

When a clock starts its update process, it searches in this order and applies only the first update.XXXX-XX-XX-X.dir folder it encounters:

1. Updates for the clock name within its clock type

   For example, Folder B.

2. Updates for the Software Update Type

   For example, Folder C or D.

3. Updates for the clock name specifically

   For example, Folder A.

4. Updates for all clocks

   For example, Folder E.
