Viewing existing employee overrides

  1. Select Maintenance > Employees > Employee Basic Information - Override.
  2. Specify the employee ID in the Employee field.
  3. Specify the effective date for the overrides in the Date field.
Because overrides are date effective, all the overrides before the date that you enter are displayed in the Employee Override page. By default, existing overrides are not displayed.
  4. Click Go.
  5. Click one of these options:
    • Show Overrides: Displays any employee overrides.
    • Show Balance Overrides: Displays any employee balance overrides.
    • Show Default Labor Overrides: Displays any labor allocation overrides.
Note: You can view all employee overrides, including employee, balance, and EDLA overrides that are effective in the past or present dates by default. To include future-dated overrides across all periods, you can control the visibility of future-dated overrides through EMPLOYEE_OVERRIDE_VIEW_FUTURE registry.

When you set it to TRUE, all override types show across all dates. If you set to FALSE, current and past-dated overrides are visible, and future-dated overrides remain hidden.

When an employee’s hire date or base rate is changed using BODs or Imports, such as for an adjusted start date or a future-dated base rate override, the changes are not reflected on the Employee record.

To ensure that employee hire dates and base rate changes, including those with future effective dates, are accurately reflected in the main Employee record, configure and regularly run the Employee Synchronization task in WFM.
