Unauthorized Records Report overview
The Unauthorized Records Report displays unauthorized employee work detail records. The report displays the employees work date, ID, name, pay group, shift, clocks, hour summary, and irregular summary, such as time codes that are flagged as Irregular codes from the Time Codes maintenance form. If there is no information available from the employee's timesheet, the appropriate column is left blank. For example, if there is no clocks data for employee A on the specified work date, the Clocks column is blank for his record entry.
You must specify start and end dates for the report and, optionally, employee and team. If you only specify start or end dates, the report displays all unauthorized records for the time period.
The Unauthorized Records Report includes a Show Details parameter to support large data set with less details and improved processing.
- Yes: When this option is selected, the report displays full detail for each unauthorized record, including shift information and hour type and time code details. This option is selected by default.
- No: When this option is selected, the report is run in a simplified mode and returns only summary information for each unauthorized record, including work date, employee ID, employee name, and pay group.
For Payroll Close Wizard processing, the options above are not available. By default, the Unauthorized Records Report opens in detail mode, displaying the full details of each unauthorized record.
