Review Clocks warnings and LTA scenarios

This table shows how warnings are expected to behave when LTA covers part or all of a scheduled shift, including the cause and expected result for each situation.

Scenario	Description	Example	Expected result
Missing clocks in remaining scheduled time	Part of the shift is covered by LTA, but the remaining scheduled hours are not covered and still require punches. Since no punches are recorded for the uncovered period, a warning is generated.	An employee is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a partial LTA applied from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The remaining scheduled hours from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM have no recorded clock punches.	The warning Missing clocks on a scheduled day is displayed on the Review Clocks page.
Valid clocks recorded in remaining scheduled time	Part of the shift is covered by LTA, and valid punches are recorded for the remaining scheduled hours not covered by LTA. Since the uncovered time is recorded, no warning is generated.	An employee is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a partial LTA applied from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Valid clock punches are recorded for the remaining scheduled hours from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.	No warning is displayed on the Review Clocks page.
Clocks recorded out of sequence	Part of the shift is covered by LTA. Clock punches are recorded for the remaining scheduled hours that are not covered by LTA. However, the punches do not follow the required sequence. Because the punch order is not valid, a warning is generated.	An employee is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a partial LTA applied from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Clock punches are recorded for the remaining scheduled hours from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, but they do not follow the required punch sequence.	The warning Clocks out of sequence is displayed on the Review Clocks page.
Full day LTA coverage	The entire scheduled shift is covered by LTA, so clock punches are not required for the scheduled hours. Since there is no uncovered scheduled time, no warning is generated.	An employee is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a full day LTA applied from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No clock punches are recorded.	No warning is displayed on the Review Clocks page.
