Adding a bid window end calculator task to the Job Scheduler

To add a bid window end calculator task to the Job Scheduler:

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Job Scheduler.
  2. Click Add Schedule.
    The Task page is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    Task Description
    Specify the name of the task. For example, BidWindowEndCalculator.
    Task Type
    Select the Java Task option, and select name of the bid window end calculator task in the drop-down list. For example, BidWindowEndCalculator.
  4. In the Scheduling Time section, select the Daily option and set these parameters.
    • Every...Day(s): 1
    • Interval...Second(s): 60

    Leave default values in the other fields.

  5. Click Submit.
  6. Click OK.
The bid window end calculator task is displayed in the Task Schedules page. In this configuration, the task runs every minute. The task processes the shift pattern assignments for employees who have already bid in their elapsed bid windows.
