Schedule Validation

As of the 2026.06 release, the Validate Schedule button is available to trigger an asynchronous general validation of potential schedules generated from awarded rotation bids before schedules are assigned.

When the button is selected, validation runs against the potential shifts using the same checks applied by the Simple Rotation Bidding Assignment task. Validation results, including any employee-specific errors or warnings identified during processing, are then sent through workmail to the user who initiated the validation. Only the user who triggered the validation receives the workmail results.

If a rotation bid is already in progress for validation, the user cannot retrigger it until the initial process finishes. When the button is clicked, an acknowledgment modal displays indicating that validation is in progress along with the user who triggered the process.

Longer processing times are expected for schedule bids that include a large number of employees or cover an extended schedule period.

The validation results respect the /system/modules/compliance/IS_ENABLED registry setting. When compliance is disabled, all validations are skipped.
