Publishing Schedules with Overlapping Pending Shifts in ASV

As of the 2026.06 release, ASV schedule publishing can continue processing eligible shifts even when shifts with pending-cancellation time-off requests overlap with unpublished shifts. When PUBLISH_RESULT_DEFAULT is set to UNPUBLISHED and ASV_BOOK_OFF_UNPUBLISHED is set to TRUE, overlapping shifts with pending-cancellation time-off requests are skipped as exceptions instead of blocking the publish task.

After publishing completes, a consolidated workmail notification is sent to the team supervisor listing all skipped exceptions.

Schedules are published successfully without interruption from pending time-off cancellations.

  1. From the Schedule Selection screen, select the schedule to publish.
  2. If any shifts are in a pending state, the Schedule Period(s) pop-up window displays. To continue, select Publish shifts with overlapping unapproved time offs.
