MR_PUBLISHING_SHORT_TERM_PUBLISH_FROM
- Description:
-
This configuration key is used to determine the base date to consider for the start of short-term publishing for Master Rotations (MR).
To use this key, you must set the MR_PUBLISHING_USE_TASK_PARAMETERS registry to No. When set to No, job-level task parameter values are ignored and only the team-level configuration keys are used. In this case, you must define these configuration keys related to the publish task parameters:- MR_PUBLISHING_SHORT_TERM_VALUE
- MR_PUBLISHING_SHORT_TERM_UNIT
- MR_PUBLISHING_SHORT_TERM_OFFSET
- MR_PUBLISHING_LONG_TERM_VALUE
- MR_PUBLISHING_LONG_TERM_UNIT
- MR_PUBLISHING_LONG_TERM_OFFSET
- MR_PUBLISHING_DAILY_VALUE
- MR_PUBLISHING_DAILY_UNIT
- MR_PUBLISHING_DAILY_OFFSET
As of the 2026.04 release, two additional options are available for MR_PUBLISHING_SHORT_TERM_PUBLISH_FROM: PAYGRP_START_DATE and PAYGRP_HANDS_OFF_DATE. When PAYGRP_CUTOFF_DATE is selected, the actual base date is determined by the PAYGRP_CUTOFF_DATE registry parameter, which controls whether the pay group start date or hands-off date is used. This also keeps MR validation and publishing in sync with ASV. To split the logic between ASV and MR, select PAYGRP_START_DATE or PAYGRP_HANDS_OFF_DATE as the value for the configuration key.
If MR processing fails, the error log records:- MR ID
- Invalid configuration value
- Action attempted
Note: To successfully publish rotations using team-level settings, ensure that the required configuration keys are properly set. This key replaces the parameter defined in the Short-Term, Long-Term, and Daily publishing tasks. - Default Value:
-
PAYGRP_CUTOFF_DATE
- Allowed Configuration Value:
-
CURRENT_DATE, PAYGRP_CUTOFF_DATE, PAYGRP_START_DATE, PAYGRP_HANDS_OFF_DATE
