CLOCK_ON_OFF_DETECT_MAX_DURATION
- Description:
-
This configuration key determines the number of hours the system looks back to locate the last status-changing clock when validating consecutive ON and OFF clocks.
Increase this value when shifts exceed 24 hours so the system can find the corresponding ON clock within the lookback window and accept the OFF clock.
Example values:
- 26–28 hours for 24‑hour shifts
- 50–52 hours for 48‑hour shifts
- 74–76 hours for 72‑hour shifts
- Default Value:
- 24 hours
- Allowed Configuration Value:
- 1 to 120 hours
Note: If a value outside the allowed configuration value range is submitted, it will automatically be adjusted to the nearest valid limit. For example, a value of -1 will be treated as 1. A value of 232 will be treated as 120. In general, any value below 1 will be set to 1, and any value above 120 will be set to 120. If any decimal value is entered, then the system will automatically adjust it to the default value.
Note: When the ALLOW_CONSECUTIVE_ON_OFF_CLOCKS registry is set to TRUE, the CLOCK_ON_OFF_DETECT_MAX_DURATION configuration key will have no effect and will not be applied. This key uses a global configuration.
