Bypass a validation
Validations help ensure that swipes meet your organization’s business and payroll rules. In some situations, you can choose to bypass a validation and proceed with the swipe.
A swipe is accepted only when all displayed validations are either approved or bypassed. If any validation is rejected, the swipe stops processing immediately and is not accepted.
When you bypass validations, the system keeps a detailed record of your decisions. For each accepted swipe, it captures which validations were bypassed so supervisors and payroll administrators can review and audit them later. This provides flexibility during time capture while still maintaining accountability and compliance.
