Adding a schedule

  1. In WFM, select Maintenance > Reader Setup > Clock Update Management.
  2. Select the tab where the schedule should be added: Applications, Configurations, Resources, or System Updates.
  3. Click Add Schedule.
  4. Select a Target Type from the list.
    ALL
    This is the default value. Targets every reader that the current update version applies to and is connected to the current WFM instance.
    GROUP
    Targets an update group.
    READER
    Targets an individual reader by name.

    If you select GROUP or READER instead of ALL, the Target Name field becomes available for selection.

    Target Name
    Select the Update Target Group or Reader by name for the schedule.
    Date Selection
    Select a date or range of dates that define the start date of the Update Schedule.
    Time Selection
    Specify the start time of the Update Schedule.
    Note: 
    • The time must be set in the future relative to the current time.
    • The time must not precede any other scheduled start time for the same update type and update target.
    • The date and time are based on the clocks’ local time.
  5. Click Save.
    Note: 
    After creation, the schedule is shown in the Schedule view of the Update Version.
    • The expiry date of the new update schedule is always set to 01/01/3000.
    • The expiry date of the previous update schedule (previously set to 01/01/3000) for the same update target and update type is adjusted to end immediately before the effective date of the new update schedule.
