RESTful clock update

With a RESTful API connection, you can manage clock updates in the Admin Portal.

In WFM, you can access the Clock Update Management page at Maintenance > Reader Setup > Clock Update Management.

After accessing the Clock Update Management page, click the Update Group tab to manage update groups. The other tabs are used to manage the Setup and Deployment of each Update Type.

Each Update Type shows the same page layout. This table shows the different sections and their corresponding descriptions and available actions:

Section Description Actions
List view Shows the existing update versions for the update types in the current tab
  • Filter items by name using the Search field.
  • Sort items by name (ASC/DESC) using the Order icon.
  • Create a new update version when you click New [Update Type].
  • Select an entry to display information on Data View and Schedule View.
Data view Shows the name and contents (uploaded artifacts) of the selected update version
  • View artifact details when you click the Info icon.
  • Remove an artifact when you click the Delete icon.
Note: Artifacts can only be removed if no schedule exists for this update.
Schedule view Shows the deployment schedule for the selected update version Reviews the schedule details

Deployment Shows audit details (creation user/date) and provides an option to delete the entire update version Remove the update version by clicking Delete.
Note: Delete is allowed only if no update schedule exists.
