Importing historical data

Use these steps to import historical data for your forecasts.
Note:  Avoid duplicate records. Delete and recreate records before importing if required. The forecasting model is not retrained if the same file is uploaded repeatedly without changes.
  1. Create an aggregate task in the job scheduler.
See the Infor Workforce Management User and Administration Library and select Administrator > Time and Attendance > Time and Attendance Implementation > Job Scheduler.
  2. In the Job Scheduler page, click the Parameters button of the new task.
  3. Select Import Task and Interface Task in the Available Task Types column and click Add/Remove.
  4. Click Configure Selected Tasks.
  5. Select the Parameters of the Import Task.

  13. Run the task.
You can schedule the task to run weekly or based on the frequency that you upload forecasting data. During import, model training is automatically triggered. Training time depends on data size and number of drivers in the file. You can generate forecasts using configured drivers after the training is complete.
