Access time attestation

When you access attestation from any day on the timesheet, the oldest pending attestation record is displayed first.

You can access time attestation through these:

  • Time Attestation option from the FAB, under View more
  • The Attestation button on your timesheet page
  • The attestation prompt that is displayed when you clock in

When time attestation is accessed, pending attestation records are displayed for review.

Approving time attestation

  1. In the Time Attestation page, select a time attestation.
    For weekly or pay period attestation, select each day that you want to review in more detail.
  2. Click Approve to confirm that the attestation is correct.
    For weekly and pay period attestation, the approval applies to the entire week or pay period.

Rejecting time attestation

  1. In the Time Attestation page, select a time attestation.
    For weekly or pay period attestation, select each day that you want to review in more detail.
  2. Click Reject to mark an attestation rejected and specify a reason for rejection.
    For weekly and pay period attestation, the rejection applies to the entire week or pay period.

    You can set the appropriate permission to require a rejection comment. For weekly or pay period attestation, comments are displayed for each day in the attestation comment history.

  3. If no changes were made on a previously rejected weekly or pay period attestation, click Resolve.
    The resolved status is displayed on every day in that week or pay period, in the Self Service Portal and in the daily timesheet in the Admin Portal.
  4. To attest to the current and future dates, click Yes. Otherwise, click No.

    Comments added during attestation are saved in the attestation comment history. For weekly or pay period attestation, comments are applied to all days in that week or pay period. Supervisors can view and reply to rejection comments. These replies are also displayed in the attestation comment history

    Additionally, when all past time attestation records are completed and there are pending records for the current or future day, week, or pay period, a confirmation message is displayed before attesting to those records.

Skipping time attestation

  1. In the Time Attestation page, select a time attestation.
  2. Review the reported time.
  3. Click Skip.
    Skip is displayed at the top of the attestation screen and is available depending on the Time Approval settings that your administrator configured. You may be prompted to review the skipped record again the next time you access time attestation or complete a clock action, depending on the configuration.
    Note: For weekly and pay period attestation, skipping applies to every day in the week or pay period, and the next pending period is displayed. No confirmation message is displayed when you skip a current or future period.
