Calculating bid windows

When you calculate bid windows, each bid window are placed inside the bid period based on the schedule bid configuration. To constrain which bid windows the Calculate Bid Windows action creates, set the team-level configuration keys on the Configuration Keys maintenance form:

  • SB_WINDOW_BLACKOUT_DAYS excludes the specified weekdays.

  • SB_WINDOW_BLACKOUT_TIMES excludes the specified 24-hour format time range.

  • SB_WINDOW_START_DAY sets the weekday on which bid windows can start.

To calculate bid windows:

  1. Select Maintenance > Optional Modules > Schedule Bidding > Schedule Bid Admin.
  2. Select the check box beside the schedule bid for which you want to calculate bid windows.
  3. From the Select drop-down list, select Calculate Bid Windows.
  4. Click Execute.
