BOD_USE_INPUT_VALIDATION

This parameter controls which characters are stripped from incoming BOD data. This parameter applies only when BOD_SKIP_ILLEGAL is empty. When set to Y, only <> characters are stripped from BOD data. All other special characters are preserved. When set to N, the legacy behavior is used and the following characters are stripped: ( ) < > \ ' " ;
