Employee job rate changes

You can configure the Recalculate Task to recalculate employee records when an employee's job rate and assignment are changed retroactively. For example:

• An employee job rate change that takes effect on a past date
• A change to the effective start date of an employee job assignment

When the Recalculate Task is enabled, changes to employee job assignment that occurred since the previous task run are identified, and affected employee records are recalculated. The recalculation includes records from the effective date of the change.

Process Employee Job Rate Updates applies to changes made to an individual employee's job assignment. Process Job Rate Updates applies to changes made to job-level rate definitions.

Use the Process Employee Job Rate Updates parameter to control whether the Recalculate Task processes employee job assignment changes:
