Adding comments to timesheets

The comment specified or updated in the weekly timesheet is also visible and editable in the daily timesheet work detail comment. However, any new work detail comment specified on the daily timesheet does not appear in the weekly timesheet since there is no corresponding elapsed time entry for that work detail.
Note: You cannot add a work detail comment if there are no work detail for an employee, and a message of No Work Entered For This User is displayed.
  1. In the Enter Elapsed Time section, click the add link displayed below each day of the week that has no comment to a add new comment.
  2. Specify the comment in the text field beside the appropriate day.
  3. Click Submit.
    Note: To read comments, click the view link displayed below each day of the week that has comments in the schedule.
  4. Optionally, you can also click the Add Comments link to add comments for all the days of the week.
    Note: By default, you can click the add link to add a work summary comment. For upgrading customers, you can configure the comments dialog box to set the appropriate security permissions to enable adding work detail comments. For new customers, work detail comments are visible by default.
    The total hours are displayed for each time code when saving work details comments.
