Time off request approval for MVS users
If an employee requests time off on a day that has been scheduled using the Multiview Scheduler (MVS), the application can be configured to generate a relief shift when the request is approved. Use the PLUGINS registry parameter (/system/modules/timeOffPlanner/PLUGINS) to enable this functionality.
To configure the Time Off Planner to generate relief shifts when requests are approved, set the value of the PLUGINS parameter to es-mvsTimeOffPlannerPlugin. As of 2024.04, you can also use the ta-top-plugin
extension script.
If this feature is enabled the supervisor must select one of these relief shift statuses upon approving a time off request:
- Unfilled
- Pending
- Relief Not Needed
If this feature is enabled, you can also optionally use the CONDITIONAL_APPROVAL_ENABLED registry parameter (/system/modules/emvs/CONDITIONAL_APPROVAL_ENABLED) to identify time off requests that are conditionally approved.
A time off request is considered conditionally approved if the supervisor selects Unfilled or Pending as the relief status. The employee receives a notification when a request is conditionally approved, and the time off request is marked in a darker shade of green in the calendar to indicate the conditional approval.
