Assigning field-level and button-level permissions

  1. Navigate to the required page and click Turn ON Config Mode.
  2. Click the Key or Lock icon next to the required field or button.
    Elements that already have existing security definitions will appear with a lock. Elements that have not yet been configured with any field-level permissions will appear with a key.
  3. Select the required security group from the Security Group drop-down list.
  4. Select the required permissions from the Mfep Permission Flag drop-down list.
    Continue assigning permissions as required.
  5. Click Save and then click Close Window.
  6. Click Turn OFF Config Mode.
    When element security for individual fields on the timesheets are set to Deny, the field will display ***=*** when users in the corresponding security group view applied overrides.
